"Boat brokering was a natural progression for me. I love boats and want to help others enjoy the experience. I will use my knowledge and experience to help you find a boat that matches both your interests and capabilities".
Coll Bell has been a boatbuilder for 40 years and has worked on many forms of boat construction from Ferro-Cement to Carbon Fibre. Most of his time was spent on boat repairs, predominately traditional boats. He has worked on everything from superyachts to dinghies and is a wealth of information when it comes to anything nautical.
I have had a lifelong interest in boats, having learnt to sail as a child on holidays at Waiheke Island. My father, grandfather and uncle were all keen yachtsman and excellent mentors to him. My boating experiences are both on sail and power, involving cruising around the coast of NZ, and during my stay in Europe, further cruising around England and as far afield as the Mediterranean. I also studied and achieved the RYA “Ocean Yachtmasters” ticket through the Little Ship Club in London.
I have been involved in boat brokering for most of this century, so am fully aware of the procedures involved in the buying or selling of yachts and launches. I continue my involvement because of my love for the marine environment, the pleasure and fun it can provide, the knowledge that can be attained both personally and environmentally, and this knowledge will assist me in finding the right boat to match your capabilities and experience.
